Already Home (Poetry)

Artwork by: Josephine Wall
Life would be much easier…
Without a mind to ponder it
Maybe I’d be less curious…
Without these legs to wonder it

But when you wonder like a child…
And wander like a nomad…
And don’t look for meaning…
This life isn’t so bad

Influenced Gratitude (Poetry)

Artwork by: Beatrice Calastrini
You say you want a poem
Girl you say you want a poem

You say you love my words
Girl you say you love my words

It's getting on my nerves
Girl it's getting on my nerves

But if you keep tempting me
I'll probably write you something that I know you don't deserve

Ecclesiastes 9: 7 (Poetry)

Artwork by: Marilyn Dunlap
Let's go to a place where there's no more pain
No more looking glass self
Just glasses of champagne

When you say you want heaven
You look into the clouds
When I say I want heaven
I look into the now
You look into the verses
We're both looking for a purpose
You look into the skies
I look into your eyes

You're looking for something after death
I won't wait for my silver cord to sever
Love is in the sky with diamonds
And diamonds are forever

The Compromising Conflict (Poetry)

Artwork by: Natalia Koreshkova Pietsch
Forced into a willing and compromising
set of procedures that were
previously dreamed and drug through
the mud of complacency.

These are subtle contradictions
Described with deceiving diction
Arrogance isn’t applicable
I’m conscious, not pompous

This is insight into the epic battle
between Yang and Yin
Insight into the undisclosed pain within

The Future Me Part 3 (Poetry)

Artwork by: Spar Street
When the winds of change decide to blow...
I will be a turbine...

I will embrace the change...
And I will light up the world

A Dreamer's Diary (Poetry)

Artwork by: Nicole Helbig
A dreamer’s diary is full of hope
The destination of the outstretched rope
A dreamer’s diary is full of drive
Excitement for the passion in which she thrives

A dreamer’s diary is full of desires
Full of the possessions she wishes to acquire
A dreamer’s diary is full of drive
Full of a life that has yet to come alive

Put the diary down… because for now it’s a fallacy
Come back to the diary when the dream is a reality
